The Economic and financial Crimes Commision (EFCC) said that one of the Nigeria’s most wanted-hacker, Ramoni Igbalode, Popularly know as Ray Hushpuppi, has significant cases of cyber crimes against him
Through EFCC Spokeman, Mr Dele Oyewale said in a statement that on thursday that Igbalode, who was arrested by the International Police (interpol) And Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), has case to get back to.
Oyewale added that EFFC was familiar with details of his money laundering transactions involving high-profiles cyber criminals in his home country Nigeria
The commision is engaging with the international securities who has apprehend Hushpuppi in tracing and investigating his fraudulent transactions and other fraudsters having direct involvement with him.
“Meanwhile, Local cyber criminals with money laundering networks are also been investigated” he said .
Hushpuppi was arrested on june 10 in United Arab Emirate linking with $35million ventilator scam.
