

The Vice President of Nigerian, Prof Yemi osinbajo has revealed that out of the N500bn initial stimulus fund include in the 2020 budget, the health sector will benefit N126bn.
He said the goverment was hopeful that the response to the COVID-19 pandemic to revamp healthcare facilities would be encouraged.
He also said the present regime will not relent in its efforts towards improving the country’s healthcare infrastructure and Economy despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19.
“All these would be achieve by creating jobs for millions of Nigerians in different sectors, both small and large scale businesses”, he said.
“Out of the 500bn initial stimulus fund, N126bn of it is going to the healthcare, as we have all noted how states have risen to challenge the deadly virus, revived healthcare facilities, new isolation centres, new ICUs are coming up, the number of testing centres has also increased, we hope we are able to sustain the speed”.
