There’s an internal crisis rocking the ruling party All Progressive Congress in Ekiti as It appeared two leaders in the state are engaging in power tussles.
The Special Adviser to President Mohammed Buhari on Political Matters, Sen Babafemi Ojudu, has been accusing Fayemi that he runs the party like his personal business, He also labeled the governor as “Overambitious”.
It was gathered that, Ojudu who is also from the ward of the Fayemi’s deputy, Chief Bisi Egbeyemi, supported the gov when he contested in July 14, 2018
The leadership of the party in the state supporting the governor, has pushed for the suspension of the Ojudu by his ward executives for alleged anti-party activities.
Chairman of Ojudu’s ward, Ayo Afolabi said no amount of pressure and intimidation from the State leaders will make them suspend Ojudu.
The position of the ward to spare Ojudu has angered the governor and party leaders while the decision has strengthened Ojudu and other aggrieved state party chieftains
