Lagos State University 400L Accounting Education student, Simisola Abeni Dabiri who loves Fashion and African Nativity has said, in the space of two months she made twice profit selling beads compared to her old Ankara craft work business
It was gathered that Simisola hails from Lagos Island and has created a Niche for herself in the beads business (Abeni Onileke Idi)
In a discussion with Abeni Onileke, she said “Arts and Fashion has always been my hobby, been a Yoruba clan, the culture also enhanced my creativity.
Though, it wasn’t easy, because most people believes any young lady who uses bead is a sex worker, its not an easy task to convince people that, Beads are just for beautifications, it adds to our beauty and compliments our dressing
Wearing beads all the time has become a Lifestyle for me, it is also one of the strategy to attract customers, because ‘dem sabi better thing’.
Meanwhile, Lasuites have showed me love by accepting my own little way of contributing positively to the society, families and Friends also supported my business.
Well, Selling beads (Ileke) has earned me a nice brand too, (Abeni Onileke), So help me God”
My advice to all the beautiful ladies out there, beautify yourself, don’t think whores are the one using ‘ileke idi’, anyone can use it, If you love it buy it and use it, and to all the graduates, you can always think of a good idea and develop yourself in what you do.
Using bead (Ileke) will let you know if there is added weight or weight loss, it has a lot of advantage, she added
Here are some of her beads
