Universities won’t open until our demands are met–ASUU

The academic staffs union of university, has disclosed that varsities will not be reopened after the coronavirus pandemic until their demand are been met. The Union said these shortly after the federal government released a plan to reopen schools nation, been it the first time such decision has been taken to ensure that students are back to their studies.

Therefore the academic staffs union of universities has asked the federal government to honor the agreement with the union before any announcement to reopen schools after the coronavirus pandemic.

It was published by the punch newspaper through their Twitter handle.

The Union of University under the umbrella of academic staffs union of universities (ASUU), emphasize that the federal should stick to their agreement and consider all demand by the union before any steps to reopen schools.
