

At least 43 farm workers have been killed and 6 others wounded by Boko Haram near the northeastern city of Maiduguri on Saturday.
Anti-jihadist told militia that the victims were working in a rice field before the attack.
It was gathered , the assailants tied up the farmers and then slit their throats in the village of Koshobe.
“We have recovered 43 dead bodies, all of them slaughtered, along with six others with serious injuries,” said Babakura Kolo, who helped the survivors.
In a statement made available to Xinhua in Lagos on Sunday, Edward Kallon, the UN Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator in Nigeria, said several women may have been kidnapped during the attack, called for their immediate release and return to safety.
