On Thursday afternoon, a woman and her daughter were crushed to death by a passenger train traveling along the ItakpeWarri (Ujevwu) railway Udu Local Government Area of Delta State.
Witnesses said the unlucky woman and her teenage daughter were crossing the railroad tracks when they were hit by the fast-moving train and both died on the spot.
At the time of this report, witnesses said the incident resulted in pandemonium in the area.
Upon contact, DSP Edafe Bright, Acting Police Officer of the State Police Command, confirmed the incident to NAN.
