A senior lecturer with the Department of History and international studies of Federal University of Lafia, Dr Fred Ekpe and his daughter, Emmanuella has been arrested over the brutality and dehumanization of a young lady identified as Blessing Mathias who fought with his daughter over a man.
Prior to being assaulted, Blessing had beaten the lecturer’s daughter, Emmanuella for trying to snatch her boyfriend identified as IG. Their fight ensued after she discovered that Nuella had her boyfriendโs number in her phone, which she refused to delete. The said lady was seen in a video slappping Emmanuella and hitting her from different angles, asking her to delete the number.
Days later, Days after the incident, Emmanuella in the company of her father, Fred Ekpe Ayokhai, and hes brother, Praise Shola, and others attacked Blessing at her residence where she was beaten mercilessly.
While also abducted and driven to an unknown location as captured in a viral video, Emanuella’s father used a scissors to cut off Blessing’s cloth.
Blessing was stripped naked, beaten and left half dead in the bush. She was later rescued and taken to a hospital. She’s on drip after sustaining serious internal and external Injuries.
The Nassarawa state police command has disclosed that the perpetrators of the evil act has been arrested and the course and outcome of their investigation will be made public.
